pccofe14 runs two SLiC processes and therefore two File Maker databases are needed. The database file for 1st Caenet line is called VME02102001CAENet_1.FP3 and for the 2nd line the file is called VME02102001CAENet_2.FP3. Both files are located in D:\file maker\VME\ . The ascii file output for the 1st SLiC process is called caenet_1.TAB and for the 2nd SLiC process it is called caenet_1.TAB. These files can be found from D:\filesMaker\VME\IF_1\front-end-config-file\ and from D:\filesMaker\VME\IF_2\front-end-config-file\ respectively. Files have to be converted into xml format before sending the file into /afs/cern.ch/compass/detector/control/SLiC/configFiles/ by using FTP. Conversion can be done by using the Perl script located in D:\filesMaker\VME\IF_1\front-end-config-file\ (1st line) and D:\filesMaker\VME\IF_2\front-end-config-file\ (2nd line).
Note: The SLiCs running in pccofe14 expects the name of FE configuration files to be named as caenet_1.xml and caenet_2.xml.
Ascii file outputs, meant to be imported into PVSS database (files with .TAB -suffix), will be generated by File Maker into D:\filesMaker\VME\IF_1\pvss-config-file\ and D:\filesMaker\VME\IF_2\pvss-config-file\. These files can be transferred into pccompass04 under /dcs_data/pvss_project/compass_dcs/compass_dcs/ by using FTP.
