This host runs the main PVSS II system version 2.11.1 under Linux Red Hat 6.1. All the panels and scripts are located in this machine. All the data published from the FE computers will be sent to this PC either using OPC- or DIM Client-Server system. The online project is called "compass_dcs" and located under /dcs_data/pvss_project/compass_dcs -directory. PVSS II program is installed under following folder: /home/pvss/pvss2_v2.11.1. Several accounts have been created for this machine:

• compassdcs (local), password: "*******". Used by DCS administrator(s). Note: For being able to start/stop the system one has to be logged in as compassdcs.
• onl (AFS), password: "*******". General Compass experiment account which in DCS is used when normal users wants to use the DCS user interface for browsing the data. Note: It is not possible to do any administrative tasks (including starting/stopping PVSS) for the PVSS system under this account.
• root (local), password: "*******". Should never be necessary to use. Has to be used only e.g. if the PVSS program need to be reinstalled.

One can use either SSH or Telnet to login remotely.
