This File Maker database file is called pctri07.FP3 and located in D:\file maker\PC#1\ .The ascii file output for the FE machine is called pctri07.TAB and located in D:\filesMaker\PC#1\front-end-config-file\. This file has to be converted into xml format before sending the file into /afs/cern.ch/compass/detector/control/SLiC/configFiles/ by using FTP. Conversion can be done by using the Perl script located in D:\filesMaker\PC#1\front-end-config-file\ .
Note: The SLiC running in pctri07 expects the name of FE configuration file to be pctri07.xml.
Ascii file outputs, meant to be imported into PVSS database (files with .TAB -suffix), will be generated into D:\filesMaker\PC#1\pvss-config-file\. These files can be transferred into pccompass04 under /dcs_data/pvss_project/compass_dcs/compass_dcs/ by using FTP.
